How did you discover Disc Golf?

My friend got me interested in playing shortly after our COVID lock down was lifted in Florida. I enjoyed myself a bit the first time, but we went out again the next day and I got my first birdie with a 120 foot throw in. A guy in his truck in the parking lot started honking the horn and stuck his head out of the window to yell and celebrate with me and I've been hooked since.

What is your proudest Disc Golf moment?

My proudest moment so far is my only tournament win, which I pulled off while playing against a card full of my fiends that I had only lost to up until that point. I wasn't keeping track of scores and expected them to be doing better than me. So it was a very pleasant surprise, a couple holes from finishing our final round, when they informed me of my decent lead.

What are your practice routines?

During summer, field work and lots of putting practice. During winter, just getting out to play despite the weather and joining local glow/putting leagues to keep myself motivated.

What is your go-to tip for beginners?

Stick to putters and midranges when starting out, I wish I had. They teach you a lot about your mechanics and can help get you throwing well before you're able to throw far.

Comment: "Absolutely love the flight, had a beautiful green cosmic kahu that I'd use off of most tees until it was lost on Toronto Island a few months back. Love the way it fits in my hand!"
