How did you discover Disc Golf?
My buddy played for 5 years and kept asking me to try it out. I finally accepted his offer. He let me use three of his discs and gave them to me when we finished throwing. I was hooked after the second time I played. I fell in love with dosc golf when I realized I could throw one great throw in a round and still be happy. Knowing I was capable of throwing a great shot kept me coming back.
What is your proudest Disc Golf moment?
Getting 26th in my first MPO tournament, which was an A-Tier. The Majestic at Blue Ribbon Pine. I also got to play the first round with Greg Barsby, awesome guy to have on a card.
What are your practice routines?
I practice a lot at a local 9 hole course. One time I'll bring all mids and putters and throw for layups near the basket or try to throw them all in the basket. Next time I go I throw the long tee pads and throw all mids, fairways, distance drivers. I usually putt in my yard, I try to putt at least 100 times a day.
What is your go-to tip for beginners?
Slow is smooth and smooth is far. Start off with correct form, you can add speed later.

Plastic Type: Atomic
Comment: "The Piwakawaka is understable but very versatile and controllable. The glide is amazing, I don't have to throw it near as hard as other mids to get 300 feet of distance. It's an amazing disc that I would recommend to any skill level of disc golfer."
