How did you discover Disc Golf?
I drove out to British Columbia from Ontario in 2022, for my sisters wedding. One of my friends on Pender Island, BC had a basket in his backyard. He took us to Golf Island Disc Park on the island! My cousin and I instantly fell in love, I came back home to find there is Sandy Hollow 10 minutes from my house, and it has been a big part of my life since! Love the sport, love the people and experiences!
What is your proudest Disc Golf moment?
I hosted my first unsanctioned tournament in 2023, in Barrie, ON at Sandy Hollow. It was a great turn out and everyone had a blast. I was so happy seeing many different skill levels come out and simply have fun! We had CTPs on nearly every hole, prizes and drinks. It was amazing.
What are your practice routines?
Honestly, I just play. I start putting at home, 5 minutes later I'm on my way to the course, no matter the weather conditions. 2023 left me with 400+ rounds, and many tournaments. It was a blast.
What is your go-to tip for beginners?
Continue to have fun and play! Don't be afraid to play with people that may be more advanced, they'll help teach you and create your own game! P.S Mid-ranges and Putters are your friend! They fly far too!!!

Comment: "My favourite disc(s) right now are between the Piwakawaka and the Kiwi, I love them both and they've been a staple in my bag for quite some time! Being a lefty, and not being able to forehand, the Piwakawaka gets thrown quite often! The Kiwi I can get distance that I can not with anything else."
