Started Disc Golf in 2021

I discovered disc golf when my brother flew his family out in the summer of 2021 and brought me to my local course for the very first time. He gave me my first disc there which was a buzzz that is considerably flippy now. I can still remember the first moment I knew I loved the sport though. It was hole 14 at WoodWard park, 280ft on an elevated basket and I threw one of the best shots I could imagine on this straight tunnel shaped shot. I him telling me how hard putting was, then I proceeded to knock down my first 15ft putt for birdie.

My proudest disc moment has changed in the last 6 months since I've been sponsored by rpm. I went from a player that couldn't seem to finish out a tournament for a win, to now maybe one of the most feared am1 players locally. I'm on a 4 tournament win streak since I've been signed by rpm and my proudest moment continue to lives on through this sponsorship and the support they give me as a player.

For the 2024 year I have set up a putting sequence in my backyard which only takes about 20 minutes and putting is what I like to practice the most. I putt from 5/10/15/20/25/30/35/40ft all respectively with a different number of putts from each station. (I don't ever exceed 20putts from a station that way I can't let bad habits creep in)

Throw confident, and enjoy the moment. You might not know what you're doing but when you're able to imagine the flight of the shot before you throw it then you can almost start to teach yourself how to correct a mistake.
