How did you discover Disc Golf?
I learned to play with my Dad. He played Ultimate as did my Mom so I grew up throwing discs around all the time.
What is your proudest Disc Golf moment?
Proudest moment for me has to be the ace on Hole 17 of Whistlers Bend in Oregon my first time playing it. My friend and I were on our annual disc golf road trip and met up with some of his friends (and locals) there for a little random dubs match. I wasn’t playing great but coming down to the end of our round I played solid and banged the ace from 621ft away with 131ft vertical drop on a forehand line with that 12-13 year old Star Boss. I swear you could hear our group the next town over. Great moment.
What are your practice routines?
I like to play practice rounds for throwing and mostly do putting practice otherwise. I have a Mach 7 basket in my backyard and I like to hit a couple hundred putts each week if I can between work and practice rounds. I also have a travel basket I bring to one of my jobs during the spring, summer, and fall and have lots of down time there so I try to hit 500-1000 putts per day when I’m working there.
What is your go-to tip for beginners?
Throw putters or understable mids, watch the form tips from some of the top pros and try to implement them, and go out to have fun, not just to train.

Comment: "The Kahu flies like a nicely seasoned Star Boss from Innova which was my go to driver for about a decade. I’m loving how the Kahu glides. "
