Started Disc Golf in 2021

Discovered the sport through Foundation Disc Golf Youtube channel. It popped out on my feed randomly and I was hooked to it from first video (which as I am thinking now, was not that good 😀 ). Than I discovered that there was a 5 basket course near to the place I was living at the time, so naturally next step was to buy some discs and go try it out. And of course as a true amateur I ordered way too overstable discs 😀 I think the love came from the fact that it was Covid-19 and it was super easy to go out and just play, and more I played, more addictive I became to play more and gain more knowledge about DG. I joined local club in Vilnius, started to play in weekend HCP league, started to participate in PDGA sanctioned tournaments.

Started to make Disc Golf content in Lithuania. First to do it and I like people reactions and feedback. Also I think Youtube content is a great way to spread DG sport in general.

Warm up for the body (noone is getting younger these days :D) Putting practice: starting from 5 meters and moving on 1 meter at a time after 5 consecutive makes. Throwing few BH and FH to warm up the distance throws. Play a round.

Distance should not be the first thing you try to master. work on accuracy first, great approaches and made puts will save your scorecard more than huge drives of the tee.
