Started Disc Golf in 2023

MY group of high school friends went looking for a new activity to have an excuse to meet up more frequently. One of us was searching google for golf related locations and stumbled on a local disc golf course, they sent us all a link to a starter set to buy as well as a link to "the holy shot". I loved it and was hooked from the first time we played.

probably my first win, it was my first tournament after only playing for a month or two. I was in the MA4 division but i wasnt expecting to be competitive, so to not only play better than i expected, but to also come away with a win, was big for me and got me hooked on the competitive side of disc golf also

practice routine has taken a bit of a hit lately with the birth of my first child, starting to get back into it a bit more as i start to have some more free time, but the current focus in 10-15 mins of putting practice at a mountain of pillows in my garage is about the most i get at any one time currently

accuracy is key, everyone wants to throw far, but if you can throw straight consistently, it will be far better for you in the long run
