When/how did you discover disc golf and knew you absolutely loved it?
It was obviously when I started playing, 1984, in Morley Fields in San Diego. The guy who suggested it to me, it was the day the surf was flat, and I laughed at him. I went out anyway and was hooked instantly.
What’s your favourite RPM Disc in your bag right now and why?
Kotuku 177g Atomic. Ultra predictable, versatile. Perfect for a one disc round.
Do you have any practice routines? If so, what are they?
The occasional field practice.
What are your goals for the current season?
To play an event. I will probably enter Bethels, actually.
Do you have a proudest disc golf moment?
NZ Match Play Championship around 2012/13. I won it.
What is the most memorable disc golf battle you’ve experienced/witnessed?
James Conrad World Championship 2021.
What is your go to tip for disc golf beginners?
Limit the amount of discs you have. Don’t get too many discs. Get a putter. Learn it.
If you could play any course in the world and bring along any 3 disc golf friends, where and who would it be?
DeLaveaga Golf Course in Santa Cruz, California. 1st choice, solo round. 2nd choice my RPM family.
