In late fall of 1999, we had a rather challenging ultimate practice, and my friend Amy said I should play disc golf with her afterwards. I had played disc golf with an ultimate disc prior to that, but had always found it slower than ultimate. Playing the Milwaukee Ice Bowl with Amy in 2000 got me hooked.

That is a brutal choice. For which throw? Atomic Piwakawaka is a workhorse of a bird, and is steerable and straight, holding a line for me for 200' - 250' with minimal fade. Atomic Pekapeka is more useful to me every day, and is great in a ton of situations. Soft Magma Tui is a phenomenal putter, and maintains its grippy velvety-ness, even on cold, Chicago winter days.

Putting practice as often as I can, daily stretch, strength, and yoga, pre-tourney I like to warm up putting, then upshots, then open up the arm a bit.

Get more RPM discs into more players' hands (when someone throws a Piwakawaka, they fall in love with the Piwakawaka), keep promoting RPM discs and women's disc golf. Hoping to take down some Ws as well.

So many of them. Most recently, winning USWDGC on a course built with the merchandise revenue from WFDF Ultimate Worlds 1993, as I was on the team that ran that event. It was amazing to win on a course run by an old teammate and dear friend.

When I was battling Elaine King at Worlds 2010 (my first Worlds win), and it was so close all week, and when I told her she is one of my greatest disc golf heroes, she told me, "You're currently beating me, you know." She is amazing and gracious. Also, playing Worlds 2013 in a tight battle against Ani Kreml, who has been someone whose skills I greatly admire since I played against her in Ultimate.

Play catch a lot.

That is another super hard question. My pandemic disc golf posse contains more than three additional members. I would like to play Simon's course in NZ, and would like to bring Mike, Jordan, and Elliot to play there.
