When/how did you discover disc golf and knew you absolutely loved it?
I first tried it 2013 with some yard sale discs but had other hobbies that took my interest so I just played couple rounds a year if even that. Then came covid and I pulled my discs out of the storage and got to the course... Now I've been basically living on the course ever since
What’s your favourite RPM Disc in your bag right now and why?
Now that I've been using RPM discs for this season it is still hard to say just one but clear top 3 for me is Ruru, Kotuku & Kiwi! Ruru is probably the most straight flying putter I've thrown, Kotuku has just the perfect combination of overstability and glide for the os mid slot & Kiwi is a great beefy utility disc that will help with scramble shots!
Do you have any practice routines? If so, what are they?
Not necessarily a practice routine but I try to get to the course during the quiet times and throw all possible lines on each hole and then play from the worst lie
What are your goals for the current season?
Keep up the development in my game and through that get that PDGA rating up to 940+. Also, play as much competitively as possible and move up to playing MA1 and MPO, and be able to compete for the win at local level.
Do you have a proudest disc golf moment?
Getting my first career PDGA-event win at my favorite local(-ish) course
What is the most memorable disc golf battle you’ve experienced/witnessed?
Being at the DDO 2022 and witnessing Kristin Tattars one stroke win over Catrina Allen
What is your go to tip for disc golf beginners?
Leave the drivers for later and start with understable to stable putters and mids! They will fly better and help you develop faster. You'll get to the drivers later and have better form!
If you could play any course in the world and bring along any 3 disc golf friends, where and who would it be?
The course would have to be Maple Hill for sure! Then for the people to play with... I'd love to bring my local buddies with me but also Maple Hill with Simon Lizotte, Kevin Jones & Calvin Heimburg would be a dope group to play there with...
