When/how did you discover disc golf and knew you absolutely loved it?
I discovered it after my baseball career was over, I played 4 years of college baseball and 2 years of semi-pro ball. It was a great outlet to keep my competitive drive alive.
What’s your favourite RPM Disc in your bag right now and why?
I recently picked up a KAHU and love it. It goes a long way!
Do you have any practice routines? If so, what are they?
I putt almost every single day as a part of my workout routine. I'm in the gym 5 days a week. I play in a league I run every Sunday to keep me tournament ready.
What are your goals for the current season?
Winning the world championship in the MP40 division. It's been my goal for 5 years now.
Do you have a proudest disc golf moment?
Competing in the 2022 USDGC. Such an amazing experience.
What is the most memorable disc golf battle you’ve experienced/witnessed?
I watched the finals of the 2014 world championships live in Portland. This was a time where spectators were not regulated as heavily. I watched the playoff between Wysocki and McBeth from so close. Such a good battle though all the playoff holes.
What is your go to tip for disc golf beginners?
Learn to throw your putter before you throw a driver!
If you could play any course in the world and bring along any 3 disc golf friends, where and who would it be?
My favorite course is in the upcountry in Maui, HI. I'd love to play with my Son Tyler who is my disc gold sidekick, my friend Nate Salvon who I has pushed me to improve the entire way, and my bud Steve Pearson who I grew up with and introduced me to the game.
