Year Started Disc Golf
When/how did you discover disc golf and knew you absolutely loved it?
First started playing with some mates with ultimate discs on a super windy day. Then I got introduced to some proper discs (starter pack) and figured out the differences and uniqueness of each disc and how they flew made it fun.
What’s your favourite RPM Disc in your bag right now and why?
Kea. Great for approach shots and its reliability.
Do you have any practice routines? If so, what are they?
Not really, I try to visualise the shot I am trying to make or the shape I want before I throw and ensure that my execution is consistent.
What are your goals for the current season?
Keep introducing the game to new people and improve my consistency in my own game.
Do you have a proudest disc golf moment?
Playing Lords one year I went from chase chase card to finishing second in MPO. I was quite proud of the fight back.
What is the most memorable disc golf battle you’ve experienced/witnessed?
James Conrad's throw in during Worlds (on TV). I think its quite hard to beat that in any sporting moment.
What is your go to tip for disc golf beginners?
Don't be afraid to get worse before you get better. A scorecard doesn't reflect a good round, if your process is solid you and your standards are high you will get better.
If you could play any course in the world and bring along any 3 disc golf friends, where and who would it be?
Maple Hill or The Beast - I would bring my partner, Son & JoBez (Josef Berry)
