I was quite honestly in a bad way. And a friend told me about this 9 hole "Disc Golf" course we were getting in my little town. I watched videos, thought it looked cool. Ordered a starter set and fell in love on my third throw when a disc did a perfect S flight.

Glow Kotuku. It is absolutely the most predictable disc in my bag. With a full rip, I can get Fairway driver distance from it, but back way off, and use the right release angle, and it is fantastic for touchy up close to the green shots.

I try to have a good stretching session, but I try not to overdo it. Probably no more than 10-20 full power throws into a warm up net. And 20-30 putts. Being an older player, energy conservation is very key.

I am looking forward to a busy end to the 2023 season. With 11 events played, and at least 4, hopefully 5 yet to play, I want to finish strong.

I have been playing for 4 years. I've had Eagles, tons of birdies, and a near 200 foot throw in this season. But until September 13th, I had never achieved a teebox to chains ace. That was an incredible feeling.

Watching Ellen Widboom win the 2020 Idlewild Open. Pierce was absolutely dominant every week at this point. And watching Widboom pull it off on the final hole was just an incredible moment. As a fellow veteran, it was just an amazing thing to see.

Decrease the number of discs in your bag. It leads to over thinking. It also sav es wear and tear on the body. I carry 10 discs. Only 8 different molds.
