Started Disc Golf in 2020

I got an RPM Discs starter pack for Christmas and my workmate took me out for a round. I love being outside and the social aspect but I'm also super competitive so I was hooked instantly.

Representing my country in the Amateur World Champs was a massive highlight for me. Although I didn't play as well as I would've liked, having the New Zealand fern printed on my shoulder and all my friends and family cheering from home was a surreal experience.

Play as much as possible while also keeping it fun. Mixing it up with various courses, fieldwork and putting. I also love to play with 2 putters during practice rounds. This allows me to work on my putting technique as well as getting more reps in.

Be confident and back yourself. We all started from the same spot. And remember we are lucky to be in nature playing the sport we enjoy. As Barrett White reminded me "I try and notice the gorgeousness around me".
