Started Disc Golf in 2022

I discovered disc golf through playing ultimate. My team had a 4 hour between games in a tournament and I went off with my friends Bryce and Remmy to play a round at the local course. I fell in love once I managed to throw a fairway driver full flight after correcting for 8 years of ultimate form.

Winning my first tournament (2023 Winter Ambush MA2)

Playing rounds against myself backhand vs forehand only. Forces me to try forehand lines where I normally wouldn’t.

Master putters and midranges. As many reps throwing as you can manage. Coming from ultimate I found the transition pretty easy so playing catch with a mate to get more reps in is worth looking into.

Plastic Type: Cosmic

Comment: "I have an 8/20 cosmic kotare that flies straight to overstable, reliable in a head wind and more glidey than a regular kotare. I find myself using it for many long drives off the tee backhand and forehand. Easy favourite in my bag right now."
