How did you discover Disc Golf?
I was introduced to the game when working in London in 2013. However it was another 7 years until I decided to get some discs and start playing. I love that it is a sport that gets you outside, you can play with all age levels and one that you can constantly test and challenge yourself. I think that it is great as there are so many ways for players to get from the tee to the basket. The choices are endless and it allows for so much player individuality!
What is your proudest Disc Golf moment?
It would be seeing the joy, development and success in the game that the people I have introduced to the game are having!
What are your practice routines?
A little but often. I can't have long field sessions or multiple rounds a day so I try and squeeze short but focused throwing sessions when I can. Having the basket and throwing net set up in the back yard so whenever walking past I try and hit a few putts or focus on an aspect of technique that I am working on.
What is your go-to tip for beginners?
Find discs that feel nice in the hand. Try and find understable discs and don't get obsessed with throwing distance drivers.
