How did you discover Disc Golf?

My partner introduced me to disc golf just before covid hit. I am one of those. I was just throwing forward with no idea of what I was doing. Just an excuse to be out in a park. We were traveling around and checking out new courses. Met awesome people, sharing tips and being very supportive and inclusive. I started hitting lines I actually meant to hit and the craving to be able to execute shots on demand became strong. I enjoyed all aspect of what disc golf had to offer, playing alone, playing with pals, meeting new ones, sharing tips, experience, Sharing the pain of a shank, having people who can relate to this love/hate relationship to trees. Everything about disc golf ticked the box I didn't know I had to make my days 300% better. This is now my favorite reason to travel, explore the world and meet new and old friends!

What is your proudest Disc Golf moment?

I managed to claim the outside circle forehand anhy putt, calling it the Emilie special! My partner was so good at it for so long , that we named it the Benny special. I worked hard to get it dialed. I do use my Atomic TUI for this. After having many successful attempts but spaced in time, I managed to get 3 in a row in one round, I could rename it and claim it! The Emilie Special. (Most of the time there is no reason to go for an anhyzer forehand putt, but it is way too fun)

What are your practice routines?

I have a basket at home but only 17 feet. I still practice putt at least 3 times a week inside. Then at the course, I have my "progression stick". I pick a wood stick and 4 putters, if I sink 4 I move back. If I sink 3, I stay were I am, if I sink 2, I move forward. If only one goes, I go to the bar! :p and I throw until what I feel all the.must get distance are feeling good. And I give a set of startle, forehand and turbo even. Because you never know when you actually going to need it!

What is your go-to tip for beginners?

Don't compare to more experienced players. It can be so discouraging. They have spend hours understanding. It will come for you too! Repetition, repetition and repetition is the key, until you have a "feel" for a good shot, and then: repetition repetition annnnd repetition! And drop these supra over stable distance drivers. Nothing but a midrange and a putter until you get the fundamental form. And enjoy being out! Never forget, forward progression is always good! Even if it is 5 feet. Next one will be 8!

Comment: "The TUI has been my favorite putter and throwing putter since day one. They glide, they turn over like nothing. Saved me not having a forehand for so long. Even today I will still chose a TUI turnover shot over a forehand. They are so cool to watch. They feel good, they look good."
