How did you discover Disc Golf?
My best friend invited me to play a round with his boys. It was in the fall and I enjoy the outdoors. Such a beatuful day and the camaraderie was wonderful. I was hooked on watching the boys making the discs fly, the walking of the course and the bond we had playing. I retired from the miltary and had not realized how much I missed the camaraderie. The peace I find in the woods helps me with my PTSD. I enjoy intruducing fellow vets and youth to the sport.
What is your proudest Disc Golf moment?
Placing 6th overall in the first year of the DGMT.
What are your practice routines?
I play different local courses when they are not busy. I throw two discs on each hole. One backhand and one forehand. Every shot to the basket is done this way. My scramble skills during a tournament are strong because of this. I also find because of this practise, I do not panic if I hit a tree or shank a throw. I have complete confidence I can get to the basket.
What is your go-to tip for beginners?
Get in the woods and throw. My first year I played a round on the weekend but trained in an open field. The field work helped teach me many things. However, once I was in the woods I could not throw those same shots and I lacked confidence because of the narrow fairways.

Comment: "I love every disc RPM has. However, In the woods of Charlotte, the Tui is my go-to putt and approach. It keeps my outof trouble and allows me to hit those critical putts circle two and in."
