How did you discover Disc Golf?

I have some family that started playing in the 1980's and i got into in my mid 20's. Once i started playing, I fell in love with it!

What is your proudest Disc Golf moment?

I won my first B tier alongside a bunch of my friends whom i compete with. I had the chance to layup a dangerous 40 foot putt but chose to run it and drained it. I won the event by 5 strokes.

What are your practice routines?

I prefer to compete as practice. I will participate in handicap leagues, putting leagues, 3 disc challenges and so on. When I do practice, I will set up my basket in an open football or soccer field and throw at it. I like using an open field because I want to see the full flight without obstructions and without using any landmarks above the ground. If I am able to use a marked or lined field, I get to see roughly where the disc lands and all of its ground play with markings to compare.

What is your go-to tip for beginners?

Throw what feels comfortable and learn to make it work. Everyone is different and your form is going to be different. Learn to be the most consistent you can with the tools you have.

Favourite Disc

Plastic Type: Cosmic
Comment: "The Kotuku is by far my favorite disc from RPM. It's the first disc in RPM's lineup I was able to get my hands on. I wanted a mid range that could handle power and still give me glide. Most of my "stable to overstable" mids and approach disc would either be so overstable that they would fall out of the air or would turn when throw hard. The Kotuku doesn't turn until it's very seasoned, like 9 months in my bag playing every day. I currently bag 4 Kotukus. I have two in glow, one is cosmic that is flat, and one in cosmic that has a tall dome. All of them are in stiff, durable, premium plastic and I get almost all the mid range flights I need from them.
