Started Disc Golf in 2018

A friend of mine introduced me to Disc golf in 2013ish. Which, when I moved away from my hometown for work, I forgot about Disc Golf until I moved back in 2018.... after that I started playing again and got absolutely hooked.

I have two, Winning my first tournament is a good one but, my favorite is coming 2nd place in the "British Columbia Provincial Championships" in 2022.

The last couple years I have been going a bit overboard with practice... to the point of getting a blister on my finger a tearing it off the same day. Due to this, and it affecting my tournament play, I have decided to rethink practice. A couple days a week I will head to a field and work on back hand throws (Early 2025 I lost touch with my backhand) for 40mins. One of these days I will take video and review The other I will head to the field and practice with the intention of working on specific shots or specific molds. I feel this keeps me fesh and lets me hone in on specific problems.... still trying to get in touch with that backhand throw again. Flip side is my Forehand is the best it has ever been. Putting, is a little easier, Most of the time I practice 30 mins from 20-25ish feet. My opinion is this is where the most strokes are lost on the putting green so hammer them out. I have also added practicing from 35-40 ft. this is less frequent and mostly to work on being comfy in that position to run a putt and make the comebacker.

Slow everything down and work on being consistent.
