My Dad first introduced me and my family to disc golf and I played occasionally for a long time until the end of high school. Then for some reason, something changed and I wanted to see how good I could get, so I started playing as much as I could and loved the game more each day!

I spend a LOT of time putting, and will often play JYLY to add some pressure to my practice. I also like working on my gap hitting by going to nearby parks and throwing different lines through trees that are close together.

My goal this season is to prove that I am a better player this year than I was last year.

My proudest moment so far is winning the Mayhem Open A-Tier in 2022, it was a huge milestone in my journey and proved to me that all the work I do to improve is paying off!

I was in a five way sudden death playoff for first at a B-Tier last year, and I managed to push the playoff with one other player for three holes. No win at the end for me unfortunately, but it was an exciting and extremely nerve wracking experience nonetheless.

Find a group of people to play with, and have as much fun as possible! Everything else will follow. If you are looking to improve or be competitive, an in person lesson with a local pro can go a LONG way and help you make huge strides in your skills.

I would go play W.R. Jackson at the International Disc Golf Center with my old collegiate team because we made so many great memories there.
