Barrett White – Player Spotlight

Barrett White claimed a MASSIVE win at the US Women’s Championships Major event this June (FP50+). 14 shots ahead with a 8 under par, Barrett’s rounds averaged 930 rating. Five days prior, Barrett also took out the Wisco Disco B Tier tournament with a 6 stroke lead in the FP40+ division. On the 11th and 18th of June, Barrett placed second in both Dellwood and the Masters of Canyons (FP40+), and, the Greater Milwaukee Open (FPO).

As of today, Barrett has played 400 PDGA tournaments in her Disc Golf career, and won 255 of them. She is a phenomenal player, an inspiration and we will be seeing a lot more of her, including her competing in the FP40+ division at the PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships Major tournament on the 12th of July.

This season, Barrett also received a special RPM Discs signature stamp, a Koru of Pekapeka, which is available for purchase.

Martin Doerken had a great month of Disc Golf this June. At The Wedding of Tina and Dinko, he shot 37 under par in the MPO to claim first place over 21 other competitors, and then Eagled the three rounds of Baltic Disc Golf Championships Alutaguse Open for first place in the MP50+. Along with the two first places, Martin claimed 3rd and 5th at two other PDGA B & A tier tournaments. An impressive performance indeed, accompained with some great photos.

This June we saw a lot of action from our Team, especially from our new Tribe members who are already making a name for themselves on our Team Achievements list. A big shoutout to Barrett White who won first place for the US Woman’s Championships for FP50+!

This May we got to see our team take flight with a total of 17 first places being secured! Barrett White noticeably is responsible for three of these wins herself- definitely a player to be watching as the season goes on and America comes into Summer. 

On the side of Tribe, the Lawrence brothers are making several appearances, competing not only against other players, but also each other. Both of them claimed a win this month.

Team RPM has had many new enthusiastic and talented players join Tribe this 2022 season. Already we have seen amazing work and representation by these new members. Seth Humphrey – Player Spotlight

Seth Humphrey – Player Spotlight

Seth Humphrey is one of RPM Discs’s new Tribe members of the 2022 disc golf season. Already he has played nine PDGA tournaments this year, five of them in April. He shot a 2 under par at the Brangus One Round Challenge to take first place in the Amature division, shooting a round rating of 983. In three of his other tournaments he placed in the top 5 of his division. 

He is ever improving, and we can expect to see his name making many more appearances on the Team Achievements for the months to follow.

Team RPM had an astonishing 2 weeks of success this first half of April. We had so many top finishers, we had to adjust the template just to accommodate for the amount of names! It is awesome to see from our team, and we can expect to see more as the Northern Hemisphere starts to come into summertime this year. 

Michael Holland – Player Spotlight

Michael Holland – Player Spotlight

Michael Holland is one of Team RPM’s new Tribe members for 2022 and he is here to impress! Over the course of the last two and a half months, Michael has claimed three 1st places and four top 5s out of 8 tournaments already! He is quickly improving his PDGA rating, having jumped from 908 to 932 in just a month. Michael is a player that knows that ‘practice makes progress’ and I am sure we are going to see him featured on many more Team Achievement posts throughout this year.

The start of March was an exciting time for us here in New Zealand with the 2022 National Championships. Many members of Team RPM travelled to compete in Wellington, with Levi Stout and Simon Feasey placing in the top 3 for the MPO division. What an great tournament to watch online!
